Larry June is a determined artist that has been putting in work for a long time. In 2014, Larry June saw his work recognized in the right places. As a result, Larry June went from being relatively unknown to having a national profile. Things were going well for Larry June, leading to Warner Records signing him, in 2014. However, Larry June would buy himself out of his contract just two years later. After that, Larry June reverted to being an independent artist.
Larry June returned to the game as an independent artist. Upon declaring his freedom, Larry June hit the game hard with his new releases. Starting in 2016, Larry June began hitting the road, and toured alongside some of the biggest rappers in the game. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Larry June saw his touring career come to an abrupt end. As a result, Larry June went into his studio and just began recording while forced into quarantine.
Larry June recorded six projects in 2020 and then he partnered with EMPIRE Distribution. In 2021, Larry June released his most recent project. After that, Larry June began releasing individual singles, without the projects attached. Among the singles Larry June recorded was “Private Valet,” a song that was definitely inspired by the 1970s. A few days ago, Larry June delivered the official visual for the “Private Valet” single.
