LeBron James gets booed by the Lakers’ fans after turnover
When the Lakers retooled their roster, there was a lot of excitement. LeBron James reunited most of the 2020 championship roster, after failing to repeat in 2021. The Lakers brought back Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo. Meanwhile, the Lakers brought in Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook. In doing this, they gave up Alex Caruso and Kyle Kuzma. Both are having phenomenal seasons for other teams, meanwhile the Lakers struggle.
Injuries really messed with the Lakers’ chemistry, this season. Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis have missed chunks of time. Had they been healthy, the Lakers may have been a better team, this season. Whatever the case, the Lakers’ fans expected to be contending where the Suns and Warriors have been this season. During All-Star Weekend, LeBron James vented his frustration with the Lakers’ management. The fans believe LeBron James may leave the Lakers.
Tonight, the Lakers’ fans finally let their frustrations out. The Lakers hosted the New Orleans Pelicans, tonight, and got blown out. This is Anthony Davis’ former team, a team he forced a trade to leave, to join the Lakers. Early in tonight’s game, LeBron James had a turnover, and the fans in the Lakers’ home crowd began booing him. Not long after, LeBron James was sent to the bench.
