LeBron James confuses Austin Reaves by telling him what Alex Caruso would do | Lakers at Nets [VIDEO]

LeBron James confuses Austin Reaves talking about Alex Caruso

Two years ago, to the day, LeBron James passed Kobe Bryant to become the NBA’s third-leading scorer, last night. Then, the next day, Kobe Bryant died in a tragic death. All of that took place before the NBA had to shut down and then reopen, with the Orlando bubble. An emotionally charged season saw the already-dominant Lakers march into the 2020 NBA championship.

The impact of the shutdown and the bubble led to a shortened 2021 season. A late start, and only 72 games, saw the Lakers struggle with injuries. Before the injuries, the Lakers jumped out to a 21-7 start to the season, before landing in the play-in. Beating the Warriors for the seventh seed, the Lakers lost to a hungry Devin Booker and Chris Paul-led Phoenix Suns in the first round.

During the offseason, the Lakers traded Kyle Kuzma and let Alex Caruso sign with Chicago. This cleared room to bring back much of the 2020 supporting cast. While last night was a dominant win over the Nets, in Brooklyn, the Lakers have struggled this season. There are critics saying the Lakers should have kept their old squad.

Last night, LeBron James made a huge play, but Austin Reaves needed some guidance. LeBron explained what Alex Caruso would do, leaving Reaves confused.
