LeBron James remains the biggest name in basketball. Astonishingly, he has played for eighteen years, splitting his time with the Cavaliers, Heat, and Lakers. Playing with all three, during his prime, LeBron has won titles with each team. During the 2020 bubble, he led the Lakers to the title, and their first playoff appearance in seven years.
Due to the prolonged 2020 season, and the title run, the Lakers had little turnaround time. Last season, it showed, as the Lakers succumbed to injury. Alone, LeBron James led the Lakers on a decent postseason run, defeating the Warriors to secure the seventh seed. When there, the Lakers nearly beat the Phoenix Suns, who’d go onto play in the NBA Finals.
Tonight, the Lakers were on the road, playing the Dallas Mavericks. Without Luka Doncic, the Mavericks are still putting up a strong fight. Last night, LeBron James definitely brought the energy. Early in the game, LeBron came with such a clean block that the refs called him for goaltending, something he clearly didn’t agree with.
