LeBron James sheds tear after passing Karl Malone on NBA scoring list

Though the topic has always been controversial, nobody ever argued about LeBron James being great. A lot of the arguments came from people saying he was the best ever. Michael Jordan is the player regarded as the greatest ever. Not only does it stem from his individual play, but Jordan also won six NBA titles, never losing a single series. Jordan is a five time MVP and a six time Finals MVP. The six championships in eight years is what people hold over LeBron.

What can’t be overlooked with LeBron James’ accomplishments are his own titles. LeBron James is a four time MVP, winning two during his first stint in Cleveland, and winning two in Miami. Along with that, James is a four time Finals MVP, winning two titles in Miami, one in Cleveland, and one with the Lakers. Three of those four championships came during LeBron James’ historic NBA Finals run. From 2011 through 2018, LeBron made the Finals every year, playing with both Miami and Cleveland.

LeBron James is one of the most durable players in the league. This season is his nineteenth season in the league and its only the second of his career where he’s dealt with injuries. Still, it’s been one of the best seasons of his career. Last night, the Lakers visited the Washington Wizards. It resulted in another loss for the Lakers, but LeBron James passed Karl Malone on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. After becoming the NBA’s second all-time leading scorer, LeBron James shed a tear.
