Lil Durk and India Royale partner with Soulé for Mother’s Day

In celebration of Mothers Day, Lil Durk gives back in a huge way. Lil Durk and India Royale partner with Soulé Restaurant to feed Mothers throughout Chicago. Gifted the name of “Neighborhood Hero”, Lil Durk is covering the cost of meals for all dine-in only reservations for all Mothers. Soulé which is located on Chicago’s Westside, is a popular soul food establishment and a favorite of Lil Durk’s.

Lil Durk continues to prove he’s one of the greatest rappers of modern times. His 2013 mixtapes series Signed To The Streets, gained him major attention leading to a record deal with Def Jam Records. Releasing his two debut studio albums Remember My Name and Lil Durk 2x with the label before parting ways. Independently releasing the 2018 mixtape Just Cause Y’all Waited, he signed with Alamo Records later that year. Lil Durk reached Billboard success with his single “Viral Moment” from his fifth studio album along with a chart topping feature on Drake’s 2020 single “Laugh Now Cry Later.” Finding more commercial success with the 2021 Lil Baby collaboration album The Voice of the Heroes, it debuted at number one on the Billboard charts.

 

In addition to leading the rap game, Lil Durk is pushing positivity within his music and his community. Earlier this year he donated $350,000 to Howard University in scholarships. His new single “All My Life” featuring J. Cole further adds to his message of healing and positivity. This kind gesture of feeding Mother’s everywhere is another act of his kindness and growth as a community figure. Soulé posted a clip via their Instagram page showing more than one hundred Mother’s enjoying their food.
