Lil Durk remains on top with Golden Child video
When a person has dreams, they should never give up on them. Also, when a person reaches a level of success, they should never settle. Look no further than Lil Durk for living proof. Ten years ago, Lil Durk was one of many rappers from Chicago making music. The guys he was around ended up blowing up and Lil Durk gained a buzz from association. Lil Durk signed with Def Jam and this is where the first part of his career took place.
Def Jam decided to drop Lil Durk and he spent this time learning the music business. As an independent artist, Lil Durk released several mixtapes and independent albums. Using Apple Music, Lil Durk made himself hot, and took over the game. This led to Alamo Records signing Lil Durk and doing a deal with the whole Only The Family label. Last year, Alamo Records left their own label deal with Interscope Records in favor for a deal with Sony.
Lil Durk has continued doing his job, rising from a mixtape rapper to having almost as many streams as Drake does. Today, Lil Durk released his album, 7220 to much fanfare. Just before the release of the album, Lil Durk dropped a new single. The record is called “Golden Child” and Lil Durk has returned with the official music video for the single.
