Luka Doncic tells the Jazz bench that Rudy Gobert can’t guard him | Jazz at Mavericks | Game 5 | 2022 NBA Playoffs [VIDEO]

Luka Doncic tells the Jazz bench that Rudy Gobert can’t guard him

Luka Doncic is the one who put the Dallas Mavericks back on the map. The past two seasons, Luka Doncic got the Mavericks back into the playoffs. During both COVID-shortened seasons, Luka Doncic’s Mavs lost in the first round to the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7. Luka Doncic finally broke through, leading the Mavericks to their first 50-win season since Dirk Nowitzki was leading the team.

Luka Doncic isn’t the same kind of franchise player that Dirk Nowitzki was. Doncic is loud in how he plays and he is no stranger to confrontation. While Dirk wasn’t either, he hardly got into it with the refs, or with other players. In the case of Luka Doncic, he has been the complete opposite. Because of this, Luka Doncic has the reputation of being a whiner, crybaby, type of player.

Luka Doncic is a player that is not afraid of speaking his mind, or being controversial. When Luka Doncic scored on Rudy Gobert, and drew a foul, he was not quiet about it. After Luka Doncic got his and-1, he looked directly at the Utah Jazz’s bench. Doncic looked at them and told them that Gobert was not able to guard him.
