Malaysia and Brandi argue and nearly come to blows
Malaysia Pargo and Brandi Maxiell were once “Basketball Wives'” ultimate best friends. Last night’s episode solidified Malaysia and Brandi as enemies. Before the pandemic, Malaysia and Brandi were starting to grow apart. However, Brandi took it personally when Malaysia did not reach out to her when her father died. As a result, Brandi has not had great feelings towards Malaysia.
Malaysia further intensified the strain, when she sat with Jennifer at Jackie’s wedding. Jennifer asked Malaysia about Brandi and she downplayed being friends with her. Immediately after Jackie’s wedding, Brandi did confront Malaysia. Shaunie O’Neal moderated, as Brandi and Malaysia made it clear they had no issues. All was well, until Malaysia arrived at DJ Duffey’s event with Zell Swag as her plus one.
Malaysia brought Zell Swag to DJ Duffey’s event. When Zell showed up, Malaysia immediately got the side eye from Brandi. There is also the history Zell Swag has with Jennifer. All of this came to a head, as Brandi confronted Malaysia. Because Malaysia and Brandi used to be friends, their disagreement became a little more intense. With Malaysia having Zell, it angered Brandi that much more. This led to a near brawl.
