Method Man takes break from Power to drop The Last 2 Minutes video
The most-recognized member of Wu-Tang Clan is Method Man. Known as one of the top lyricists of all-time, Method Man has made some incredible music. He and Redman, from Def Squad, have made a powerful duo. Commercially, Method Man is better-known for his work with Redman than he is with Wu-Tang Clan. In 2001, the two came together for the movie, How High, which is regarded as a classic. Two decades later, fans still want a sequel.
However, Method Man is making bigger noise for his current work. In 1995, he and Mary J. Blige made a classic in “All I Need/I’ll Be There For You.” The song is a classic and the two reunited to perform the song at the 2019 BET Awards. Since 2019, Method Man has focused more on his acting, and he spoke to Hip-HopVibe.com about this, at Essence Fest. In 2020, “Power Book II: Ghost” premiered and Method Man has become a fan favorite, playing attorney, Davis MacLean.
Method Man has done such a good job as Davis that it’s easy to overlook what he does behind the mic. But, he changed this with the release of “The Last 2 Minutes,” featuring Iron Mic.
