Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks – Full Game 4 Highlights | April 24, 2022 NBA Playoffs [VIDEO]

Miami Heat blow out Hawks in Atlanta and take 3-1 series lead

Through a turbulent Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat were consistent. In a rare season where the East was better than the West, being consistent was enough. Oddly, the Miami Heat managed to stay out of the spotlight, while taking the first seed in the East. The 2022 Miami Heat season was not without drama, though. During a home loss to the Golden State Warriors, Jimmy Butler almost got into a fight with Erik Spoelstra and Udonis Haslem.

While the Miami Heat were consistent, the Atlanta Hawks were disjointed. Last season, the Atlanta Hawks claimed the fifth seed in the NBA Playoffs. The Hawks would upset the Knicks and 76ers, en route to taking a surprise trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite the Hawks losing to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Hawks fans were excited. Some Hawks fans believed they would be title contenders this year. Instead, the Hawks were a play-in team.

The Atlanta Hawks very narrowly escaped a sweep, due to a Trae Young game winner. Not trying to go back to Miami tied 1-1, the Heat were taking nothing for granted. In Game 4, the Miami Heat took control of the game and blew the Hawks out. Jimmy Butler and his crew dominated, while Trae Young had an off night.
