Papoose ft. 2 Chainz, Remy Ma, Busta Rhymes, and Lil Wayne – “Thought I Was Gonna Stop” [VIDEO]

Papoose goes hard with Thought I Was Gonna Stop remix video
Because he’s known for the mixtapes and reality TV, it’s easy to sleep on Papoose, commercially. But, there was a time when Papoose was predicted to become the next big thing in hip hop. What stopped Papoose was his decision to remain independent. However, Jive Records believed in Papoose enough to sign him to a deal worth $5 million. Papoose eventually left the deal, choosing to stay independent. He committed himself to Remy Ma, holding her down while she was in prison.
When Remy Ma was released from prison, Papoose began working essentially as her manager. After a year of freedom, Remy Ma and Papoose joined the “Love & Hip Hop” cast, where they became the staple couple. Papoose became an advisor, of sorts, to the Creep Squad, while Remy Ma became a mentor to the ladies on the show. The infamous fight between DreamDoll and Bianca Bonnie led to Remy Ma walking out on the girls, ending the mentorship.
Last summer, Papoose released the single, “Thought I Was Gonna Stop,” featuring Lil Wayne. The song was a standout single and became an unexpected hit. Papoose was simply releasing a new mixtape every month. HisĀ September project included the Lil Wayne-assisted single. He released the music video to much success. Because of the success, Papoose came with the remix, adding Remy Ma, 2 Chainz, and Busta Rhymes to the single. Now, the video for the remix is out.
