Pardison Fontaine shares a poem for Megan Thee Stallion

In one of his most vulnerable and creative moments, rapper and songwriter Pardison Fontaine expresses his true feelings in a poetic fashion. This past Tuesday, Pardi graced a different stage, sharing a poem he wrote for Megan Thee Stallion. Performing his piece titled “Backing It Up” at Da Poetry Lounge in Los, Angeles, he described the poem being “about a beautiful woman” that he knows. Posting a black and white video clip to his Instagram, Pardi recited his poem describing his admiration for her.

Pardison also known as “Pardi,” is one of the most successful songwriters of the last ten years. Reaching international success for his 2018 single “Backing It Up” featuring Cardi B, Pardi quickly soared up the Billboard charts. Expanding his music catalog with credits on songs like  Kanye West’s “Yikes,” “Ghost Town,” and “All Mine” to Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow,” Wild Side,” and “Up”. Pardi also received a 2021 Grammy Award for his contribution to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage remix.”

In addition to winning a Grammy with Megan Thee Stallion, the pair have been dating publicly since 2020. Despite recent breakup rumors after Megan unfollowed Pardi on Instagram, this gesture suggests that rumor is false. Although Megan has not publicly responded, the video speaks for itself in regards to Pardi’s love for her.
