Polo G links with NLE Choppa for Unapologetic video
Polo G is someone to not overlook. This year, he proved he has what it takes to own the game. In 2021, there was no more talking, Polo G owned the game. He topped Billboard with his “Rapstar” single, having the number one record in the country. Along with this, Hall of Fame became his first number one album of his career.
The success of Polo G is a continuation of the 2012 Chicago takeover of hip hop. Those guys opened the door for guys like Polo G. Their first forays into the industry helped pave the way for Polo G, and others, to have the success they currently enjoy. Several rappers stepped up and had big years, in 2021, and Polo G saw the true top of the game for the first time in three years.
Polo G recently returned with his album, Hall of Fame 2.0, a sequel to his breakthrough album. Earlier this month, he dropped the sequel.
