Power Book II: Ghost | Ep. 4 Preview

On last week’s episode of “Ghost,” Tariq (Michael Rainey, Jr.) faced all kinds of pressure. This season, Detective Whitman (Jeff Hephner) has taken over the investigation on the murder of Jabari Reynolds (Justin McManus). Last week, Whitman took Zeke (Daniel Bellomy) into custody and questioned him for hours. That pressure caused Cane (Woody McClain) to confront Tariq. Courtesy of Mecca (Daniel Sunjata), Cane is working Brayden (Gianni Paolo) to turn him against Tariq. Meanwhile, Mecca is making moves on Monet (Mary J. Blige), causing her to miss Zeke’s calls. To his credit, Tariq got his attorney, Davis McLean (Method Man) to defend Zeke. Then, there is Simon Stern (Victor Garber) still pulling strings, inserting Rashad Tate (Larenz Tate) at Stansfield. With the pressure of Jabari’s murder coming down, Stern is pressuring Whitman to let it go. Tariq, though, seems likely to frame Carrie (Melanie Liburd) for the murder. Add to all of this, Tariq has to keep the business running.
