What most producers dream of is having one of the biggest rappers in the game hit them up for a beat. That is exactly what happened with Mike Zombie when Drake reached out to him for his “Started from the Bottom” single. Mike Zombie produced what has been the hottest song of the year.
Whether people like the song or not, they cannot deny the talent Mike Zombie has as a producer, or the impact he is having on the game. The fact of the matter is, everybody is jumping on the “Started from the Bottom” beat. Drake brought the attention, but the sound that Mike Zombie created is keeping the people coming back.
Mike Zombie not only produces, he raps, so that makes him a multi-threat. This year in music was set to be a big deal anyway. But, Mike Zombie is making an impact that will not easily be forgotten. Hip hop is universal and there is something for everybody and there is a little bit more with Mike Zombie.
