Nine years ago, Migos began releasing music, and soon changed the game. The Atlanta trio actually wasn’t the city’s biggest trio. But Migos are now considered one of the biggest hip hop groups of all time. Migos’ impact has not only been felt by the game, but there are tons of artists who rap like them, and use their ad-libs.

The city of Atlanta is a place that sets the trends and that’s not going to stop. When Migos took over the game, they officially took over their city. Early in Migos’ career, the Hawks were perennial playoff contenders, but they had no star player. After 2017, the Hawks began rebuilding, and Trae Young arrived in 2018. It took Trae Young some time, but the Hawks made the Conference Finals, last year.

The Atlanta Hawks are trying to make another deep playoff run. Only this time, the Hawks fell into the play-in, so they will have to do their work as an eight seed. Facing the Charlotte Hornets, the Hawks ran them out of the gym, sending the Hornets home early. Quavo was courtside for the whole thing, laughing at the Hornets, taunting LaMelo Ball, and giving the “GTFOH” dance/symbol.
