Russell Westbrook confronts Suns fan heckling him at playoff game
Sunday night featured the opening game of the series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns, in Phoenix. This was one of the best NBA Playoff games of the weekend, as Russell Westbrook came up huge for LA, at the end of the game. Despite shooting 3/19 from the field, he hit the game-winning free throws, as well as blocking Devin Booker‘s shot and forcing an out of bounds play on him, at the end of the game.
Meanwhile, Westbrook is also trending heavily on social media, for another reason, from the game vs the Suns. A clip is surfacing of him from what is said to be at halftime, where he confronted a Suns fan in a lounge area, by the tunnel to the court.
This Suns fan was apparently making rude comments towards Westbrook, which resulted in the Clippers star saying “Watch your mouth, mother f*cker.” However a security guard nearby stood by Westbrook, to make sure no physical issues ensued. In this moment, the man also went on to tell Westbrook, “Take it like a man, Russ.”
