She ready, to tell it all!
Since Haddish has rose to fame she’s been spilling ALL the tea. From who bit Beyonce, down to asking Leonardo DiCaprio to let her hit. Now, the latest of her stories involve none other than Drake and how he had to, unfortunately, cancel on their date.
It just wasn’t in “God’s plan.” Tiffany Haddish revealed on the new episode of Red Table Talk that Drake once stood her up for a dinner date.
Tiffany sat down with Jada on Monday June, 25, to tell the story of how her feature in his “Nice For What” music video led to them texting where he asked her out for dinner.
“He’s like, ‘Man, I’m so excited about the video.’ I said, ‘Man, I’m excited about the video too,’” she recalled. “He was like, ‘We should hang out some time,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’m down to hang out. I’m cool to hang out. You let me know.’ And he was like, ‘Let me take you to dinner.’ And I was like, ‘That sounds good,’ and he was like, ‘OK, cool, cool. We’ll make it work.’”
The Girls Trip. star said she blocked out some time in her schedule for the date. “Shoot, I go get my mustache waxed, you know what I’m saying? Get my armpits waxed, got me a nice little dress,” she said.
“Then I’m like, ‘So what time are we heading out? Are you sending a car? Like, where are we going?’” she recounted. “And then he’s like, ‘Oh, man. My bad, family emergency. I’m in Canada right now.’”
Haddish wasn’t exactly happy about the last-minute cancellation. “I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do,” she quipped. “But all right!”
