Steven Adams picks Tony Bradley up and carries him from Ja Morant fight

This season, the Memphis Grizzlies have been making history. Already, Ja Morant established that he was a good player and the Grizzlies’ franchise player. But, Ja has proven that he is an MVP-caliber candidate, this season. He led Memphis to a franchise-record eleven game winning streak, which included a win over the Golden State Warriors. The Dallas Mavericks put an end to that streak, as they are currently enjoying one of their own.

The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the top three teams in the West. But, the Grizzlies are out to prove they are one of the best teams in the NBA. In the East, the Chicago Bulls have defied the odds to become the top team in the East. Coming into this season, projections said the Bucks, Nets, Sixers, and Heat would have the top four spots locked down. Similarly, the Grizzlies crashed a party expected to be led by the Lakers, Clippers, Suns, and Jazz. Out West, only two of those four teams are contending.

Tonight, the Grizzlies proved they belong in the discussion as one of the NBA’s best teams. Hosting the East’s top team, the Bulls, Memphis blew them out. Towards the end of the game, Ja Morant and Tony Bradley got tangled up. As the two began to fight, Memphis’ Steven Adams stepped in, literally picking the Bulls’ Tony Bradley up, and carrying him away. This prevented Ja Morant from picking up a suspension.
