The Charlotte Hornets saved themselves from further embarrassment and finally beat the Wizards tonight, but is it going to count for anything? #BuzzCity was so frustrating this season

Alright, before even going into it, yes I was the guy who is supposed to be “scared” of that dude from Fox News. Hopefully everybody got their good laugh from that one. Now, it’s time to get back to life how it was before one tweet became all that.

Every NBA fan already knows this, but in case anyone forgot, here goes nothing. The Charlotte Hornets suck, they’re frustrating, and they got issues when it comes to winning. If this team just closed out games, they would have a better record than Cleveland.

It looks like the Hornets are content with making the playoffs every other season, no continuity, that’s too close to being good. They like alternating successful seasons with the Washington Wizards. This lackluster play, every other season, between these two teams have robbed NBA fans of some very interesting playoff matchups.

All because the Hornets made the boneheaded move of not getting rid of Ramon Sessions, earlier this season, here they are on the outside looking in. Seriously, Sessions was worse than Jason Maxiell, a couple of seasons ago, when it comes to holding onto the ball. Pretty much, any other backup but him could have kept this thing going, and there is no reason why Charlotte isn’t in Boston’s position beside they’re scared to win on that level.

Well, everybody except for Kemba Walker and Cody Zeller, them boys are ready to win a championship. But, they won’t be young forever, and management might give up on a team loaded with potential. The Hornets may be scared, but they are not stupid, far from it, and they knew a home loss to the Wizards this late in the season would piss everybody off.

So, Charlotte is doing what they should have done early this season, seeing how they’re fully capable of doing it, and beat the Wizards. No reason why they shouldn’t have two other wins on Washington, along with two more on Detroit, two on Boston, one against the Spurs, that one against the Nets, one against the Clippers, that one against Sacramento, two against New York, that 50-point Jimmy Butler game against Chicago, and so many more.
