#ThrowbackThursday: Thurz interview with Hip Hop Vibe

Last year was a big year for Hip Hop Vibe, as the moves we made were necessary in order for this year to be what it’s been. What was a really nice move was getting DJ Kid Fresh on deck to do interviews in the Los Angeles area for the team. During his second month on the team, DJ Kid Fresh traveled to Inglewood to interview Thurz.

On the independent scene, Thurz has built quite a following and anticipation was high for him at the time. During this period, Thurz was preparing the release of Blood On The Canvas, an album that did do well. It’s been close to a year since Thurz dropped that dope project and now he’s back to work on more new music.

Earlier this week, DJ Kid Fresh tweeted out this throwback photo to both Hip Hop Vibe and Thurz. We were already looking for something to use for #ThrowbackThursday, so this time, DJ Kid Fresh did it for us. Those who may have missed Thurz talking to Hip Hop Vibe last year can catch it this year.
