Early in the 2000s, Ashanti emerged as one of the biggest R&B names, making countless hits with Ja Rule. As soon as that movement began, it ended, unfortunately. But, Ashanti still managed to be a viable star for the next few years.

Then, when social media took over, many noticed Ashanti’s figure and they liked it. Many of these people must have overlooked Ashanti in the video for Shyne’s “Jimmy Choo.” Better late than never, Ashanti is making the man in her life very lucky.

Earlier this afternoon, Ashanti treated her fans, whether she knows it or not. A video surfaced of her online, seeing as clips are not on her Instagram, it may have leaked. In this video, Ashanti is putting it down, dancing, and she is putting it down with the twerking.
