Trae Young put up MVP level numbers and the Hawks stormed their way into the playoffs. Their run was comparable to Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns’ 2020 bubble run. However, the Hawks made the playoffs and upset the Knicks and Sixers.
Trae Young came up big in the Eastern Conference Finals, but the Hawks lost to Giannis’ Bucks. Taking two wins off the eventual NBA champions left Hawks fans hyped. But, this season the Hawks didn’t play well, as the Cleveland Cavaliers surprised the NBA. In the end, the Cavs came back down to Earth and fell into the play-in. The Hawks already played the Hornets, beating them, and last night beat the Cavs.
