Udonis Haslem thanks Draymond Green for picking Celtics over Heat
Udonis Haslem was Draymond Green before Draymond Green. When Haslem joined the NBA, he was undrafted, so he signed with the Miami Heat. As a Miami native, Udonis Haslem was the hometown hero. On the 2003-04 team, Haslem only had a minor role. The following season, Haslem was promoted to starting power forward. In addition, Shaquille O’Neal joined the team.
Udonis Haslem faced immediate criticism. When Shaq joined the Heat, it was said that he never won a title with a power forward shorter than 6’9.” Standing at 6’8,” Haslem had a lot of pressure.
