Will Victor Oladipo lead the Indiana Pacers to a first round upset over the Cleveland Cavaliers?

It always seems like, no matter what, LeBron James pulls the rabbit out the hat, and the Cavaliers come out on top. Ever since he came back to Cleveland, every season has had turmoil. For sure, this one was different than all the others.
When the playoffs come, the Cavs usually get a top two seed, and they win. This year, the Philadelphia 76ers made sure that didn’t happen, leaving Cleveland at the 4 seed. A lot of talk was on how this was going to impact the Raptors.
But, one thing people overlooked was Victor Oladipo, who has been playing out of his mind, all season long. A journeyman, in the league, he has been traded, a few times. He closed out last year, playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who traded him to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Paul George.
The trade seemed lopsided, as the Thunder also added Carmelo Anthony to their squad. But, Victor Oladipo stepped up and became the Pacers’ new leader, leading them to the same 48-34 record as OKC, and a 1-0 lead, in the first round, over LeBron’s Cavs, who have been in the Finals, the past three seasons. Right now, the Cavs look like they might be in trouble, but 2016 was very troubling, and they won.
History is no real indication of the future and Victor Oladipo appears to be the future. With all good things having to come to an end, will Victor Oladipo and the Pacers be able to build on their 98-80 blowout win over Cleveland, in Game 1, and win the series? That would spell the beginning of the end, for the unstoppable Cavs’ machine.
