Currently, Alicia Keys is guest starring on “Empire” in the role of Skye Summers. There is a lot of buzz surrounding her character, as last week she shared a kiss with Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett). The gay son of hip hop icon, Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) kissed a girl.
In tonight’s episode of “Empire,” Jamal is likely to do more than share a kiss with Skye Summers (Alicia Keys). The two bonded over music and it led to something more. With nothing else going right for him, Lucious does have his son with a woman, finally.
With Alicia Keys thrust back into the spotlight, it made sense to reflect on her earlier music. Back in 2007, Alicia Keys returned with her third album, As I Am, which was a change in her style. The lead single was “No One,” a song that has become a love song classic and this week’s Wednesday Throwback.
