Hip Hop Vibe Staff Writer
The Hip Hop Vibe braintrust decided to actually get the schedule right, for once, and drop the Wednesday Throwback on Wednesday. Tuesday, however, shows BET giving the world plenty of throwbacks. It was hard to decide between Ciara, Fat Joe, or Slip-N-Slide.
In the end, Slip-N-Slide won out and Trick Daddy was the top choice, because he’s Trick Daddy. A cool dude who put on, just spitting game on tracks, Trick Daddy is a legend. He finally got his with his “Nann Nigga” single with Trina, landing him a deal with Atlantic Records.
Trick Daddy’s legacy truly began with “Nann Nigga” and he scored several hits, over the years. This began his series of albums, all of which had Thug somewhere in the title. But, we chose to not be cliche this week and go with “I’m A Thug,” so “Nann Nigga” with Trina gets it, this week.
