YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback: Joe ft. G-Unit – “Ride Wit U”

So many people came through and made an impact on the game that end up forgotten. It could be easy for some to forget Joe, despite the amount of hits he racked up in the early 1990s, as he was overshadowed by R. Kelly. But, he always had an ally with 50 Cent, even to this day.
Early in the 50 Cent/G-Unit run, 50 got Joe to do a hook on a song that eventually became a hit. Also, Joe placed G-Unit, sans 50 Cent, on a song that heated up the following summer, “Ride Wit U.” Ten years later, 50 featured Joe on “Big Rich Town,” which is the “Power” intro.
50 Cent created an avenue for Joe to be a part of one of the biggest discussed topics of the week, every week, during the summer, as “Power” is the show everyone is talking about. But, these dudes aren’t new to this, they were making hits over ten years ago. To honor their collaborative history, this week’s Wednesday Throwback is “Ride Wit U” off Joe’s 2003 album, And Then…
