Currently, Kanye West is one of the more disliked figures in pop culture, but it wasn’t always this way. Initially known for producing “Izzo” for Jay Z, Kanye West was a fan favorite. More of a backpacker, Kanye had a cult following.
Kanye West was actually similar to present-day Kendrick Lamar. Now, a lot of fans dislike him over his perceived arrogance and his relationship with Kim Kardashian. Many people feel as if he has changed for the worse, even if evidence shows this may not be true.
Taking it back to when Kanye West was, for sure a backpacker, this week, the decision was made to go College Dropout on the audience. It doesn’t seem like 2004 was twelve years ago, but it does when Stacey Dash, Kel Mitchell, and Common all appear in the same music video, or Stacey Dash in any rap video. Of course, this Wednesday Throwback is “All Falls Down” with Syleena Johnson.
