YRS Jerzy’s Wednesday Throwback (“Love & Hip Hop Miami” edition): Trina – “Single Again” #LHHMIA

Starting out 2018, the Wednesday Throwback definitely wants to focus more on the 2008 records. That year was a classic year for hip hop and R&B music, as several veterans brought their A-game. Also, given the popularity of “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” we want to spotlight that, too.

Thankfully, Trina made that a whole lot easier than it would’ve been, if she opted to not join the show. Early in 2008, Trina scored one of the first hits of the year. Delivering her first album, in nearly three years, she kicked things off with “Single Again,” one of her typical anthems.

In 2008, Trina returned with Still Da Baddest, the sequel to her debut album. The lead single, “Single Again,” took over radio, at a time when the Miami scene was dominant. This record was produced by Timbaland and remains one of Trina’s biggest hits, to date, and is the first Wednesday Throwback of 2018.
