Last night, BET did a special on Usher and it really brought home just how dope this man has been. Entering the game at a young age, Usher contended to become the king of R&B. Along the way, he worked with the likes of Jermaine Dupri, Diddy, and Jay Z.

Usher would become one of the kings of Atlanta, making a major mark on their music scene. The decision to join forces with Lil Jon led to the biggest moment of his career. In 2004, Usher delivered “Yeah!,” which is his signature song.

This afternoon was a little hectic for the team, but the Wednesday Throwback still comes on Wednesday. With Usher’s BET special fresh on everyone’s mind and Ludacris also getting a spotlight on “Inside The Label,” it made sense to revisit 2004. The song is “Yeah!,” the album is Confessions from 2004, and this is the Wednesday Throwback.
