50 Cent agrees that Future is bigger “in the streets” than Jay Z
50 Cent has been making plenty of additional major moves in television lately. “BMF” has been renewed for a third season, there are multiple BMF spinoffs in the works, and “Powerbook II: Ghost” is also returning on March 17. In addition to these, 50 signed a non-exclusive direct deal with FOX, this week. Therefore, this is for creating scripted dramas, live-action comedies and animated series. This consistent trend with television shows has been consistent for 50 ever since 2014, when the “Power” series first launched, on STARZ.
50 has now also appeared in a new interview with Ari Melber, on MSNBC. The deal with FOX was discussed as well as Future. There, 50 agreed with Future’s previous claim that he’s bigger than Jay Z, in the streets.
“Yeah, yes.” replied 50 to Melber. “Way bigger. Like, there’s consistent music from him that didn’t chart that [are] huge records that people love and appreciate. Later, it may not have the same things to hold onto that you have at points.”
