Beyoncé thanks fans for ignoring “Renaissance” leaks

Beyoncé’s first solo studio album in over six years, “Renaissance,” is now finally here. This project was initially announced by Beyoncé in June, as she went on to put out her new “Break My Soul” single, as well. On “Renaissance,” Beyoncé treats fans to 16 new songs.

Prior to Renaissance, being released, Beyoncé took to Twitter to post a message to her fans. She thanked the real fans of hers for not listening to many of the songs that leaked this week, and is looking forward to listening to Renaissance together.

“So, the album leaked, and all you actually waited until the proper release time so you can all enjoy it together. I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t thank y’all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak it into the club early. It means the world to me. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy. I love you deep.”

Despite the leaks, fans definitely came out in full force, to stream Renaissance. Many anticipate that this will become Beyoncé’s seventh straight number one solo studio album. Every solo album in her career has reached this mark.
