Brent Faiyaz lands partnership deal with United Masters
One of rnb’s rising stars is taking his music to the next level. After turning down potential deals with other labels, Brent Faiyaz joins a partnership deal with United Masters. The distribution company announced the new collaboration via their Instagram page. Posting a picture of Brent with a caption stating “A warm welcome to Grammy-nominated &9-time platinum artist Brent Faiyaz to the United Masters Family.” This new partnership will give Brent full control as he launches his own creative agency under the United Masters brand.
Brent Faiyaz is one of the most profound and original rnb artist to date. Starting out distributing music on SoundCloud in 2016, his fanbase grew quickly with the release of his first EP A.M Paradox. That same year he formed the rnb group Sonder, further solidifying his influence in music. Growing a dedicated fanbase, Brent reached commercial success as a feature beside Shy Glizzy on GoldLink’s single “Crew.” The single reached platinum status nine times earning Brent his first Grammy nomination. Further adding to his impressive catalog, Brent’s collaboration list expanded tremendously in 2021. Working with artist like Drake on the single “Wasting Time,” Tyler the Creator on “Gravity,” and Tems on “If Orange Was a Place.”
Last year Brent’s highly anticipated sophomore album Wasteland, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, an impressive accomplishment as an independent artist. With all of his recent accolades, it’s no surprise record labels are breaking down doors to sign him. Despite multiple tempting offers, Brent has always remained confident as an artist without a label. However, this new partnership rumored to be worth 50 Million, is worthy of a celebration.
