Brent Faiyaz’s “Wasteland” album debuts at number two in US

A week ago, Brent Faiyaz released his highly anticipated sophomore album, “Wasteland.” This was Brent’s first album since the fall of 2017, and his project project since his “F*ck The World” EP, in early 2020. Brent initially announced Wasteland, in June.

Wasteland contained 19 tracks, as it was led by the “Wasting Time” single, featuring Drake and The Neptunes. Brent also collaborated with Alicia Keys, Tyler, The Creator, and more. Fans were also interested in the skits that Brent included on this album. Following Wasteland’s release, it was projected to compete for the number one spot, on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Chart Data, Wasteland is now debuting at number two, in the US. It sold 94,000 units in its first week. Bad Bunny continues to remain on top, with his “Un Verano Sin Ti” album. Lil Durk’s “7220” album returned to number eight, after the release of its deluxe edition. Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” album saw a number 14 debut.

Fans also hope that Brent delivers a tour, in promotion of his Wasteland album. It is already being regarded as one of the top R&B albums of 2022.
