Cardi B has had quite the weekend, as she’s been throwing mics at people. As a result, she’s now a suspect for battery in Las Vegas. Ultimately, Cardi was in Las Vegas to perform some shows. Obviously, this makes her a lot of money. However, one show saw a fan in the crowd throw a drink at her. In retaliation, Cardi threw the mic at her. But another performance saw Cardi throw her mic at the DJ.
Cardi B was the most unexpected superstar to take over rap. Prior to 2017, her claim to fame was as a cast regular on “Love & Hip Hop.” She was introduced during DJ Self’s first season on the show. Often, she would tell him that she would become the biggest name in music. Neither he, nor the people watching the show felt she would do it. However, she did.
Cardi B surprised the world with how quickly she rose to the top. Five years later, she’s further surprised people by remaining on top. No female rapper has more number one singles on Billboard Hot 100. Even with one album, Cardi B remains booked out. Her features, alone, keep her relevant. Also, she drops a new single every now and again. During her Las Vegas performance, Cardi ended up also getting upset with her DJ and throwing a mic at him, too.
