DJ Envy accused of swindling real estate investors out of millions
DJ Envy has worked hard to build a certain image for himself. Since 2010, he has been the co-host of the popular radio show, “The Breakfast Club.” Envy has used this platform to promote many of his other ventures. Any time Envy speaks, it’s clear he is serious about his business ventures. Often, he discusses his real estate business. Now, those who actually invested are accusing Envy’s partners of scamming them out of their money. Combined, these people have lost millions of dollars.
DJ Envy partnered with Cesar Pena to be a part of his real estate venture. However, Envy has spoken about it on the show. When Envy has discussed the real estate venture, he’s said that he and Pena have helped all kinds of people. Among the people, this includes celebrities and athletes, along with regular people. Unfortunately, the regular people who invested into this venture have said all that happened is that they lost their money.
DJ Envy promoting Cesar Pena on social media led to Jose Santiago and his wife, Jessica Ortiz, investing in their business. They had goals of getting into real estate and eventually flipping houses. In order to join Pena’s venture, they claim to have used their own home to put $200,000 out to invest in the venture. According to their claims, they were to make a 20% return of $60,000 within four months. Instead, they claim they’ve heard nothing back, which echoes other investors, with losses in the millions.
