However, when he got into politics, many of his policies went against a lot of those rappers’ beliefs. As a result, he became highly controversial. None of that stopped him from becoming the president. He’s on the campaign trail now and had words for Iowa.
Donald Trump was the least likely person expected to become president. In 2016, many prominent politicians ran for the nomination. Despite their polls and their potential, Trump beat all of them. As a result, he won the nomination. On the campaign trail, Trump made countless controversial comments, and some thought he was trying to lose. In the end, he pulled off an upset to win the presidency. Then, in 2020, he ended up losing re-election.
Donald Trump began campaigning immediately after Joe Biden won. Recently, Perry, Iowa’s high school had a shooting. This left an eleven year old boy dead. Now, the campaign has begun and the candidates are in Iowa. Trump was trying to deliver a speech of comfort to the Iowa crowd. However, his wording came off insensitive. As a result, he said they have to get over what happened in Perry. Now, people are accusing Trump of being insensitive.
