Donda Academy basketball team removed from tournament
Kanye West has definitely taking some massive losses, this week. This includes adidas ending their partnership with him, on Tuesday. That same day Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics and Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles rams also announced that they would be leaving Kanye’s Donda Sports agency. This also comes a week after Balenciaga ended their partnership with Ye.
Now, Kanye’s Donda Academy is also taking a hit. According to TMZ, the boys basketball team has now been removed from the Scholastic Play-By-Play Classics. This is one of the biggest high school basketball tournaments, of the year. Kanye had initially been able to bring in many top recruits to play at Donda Academy, too.
The Scholastic Play-By-Play Classics has since released a statement, condemning Kanye’s anti-Semitic comments. They emphasized that Ye’s comments violated what they stand for. This tournament is taking place on December 11, in Louisville, KY.
