Halle Bailey seen as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid” trailer
Over the past year and a half, fans have been ready to see Halle Bailey star as Ariel, in “The Little Mermaid.” On Friday, fans finally got to see a first look at Halle in this film, as the official teaser trailer was revealed, by Disney. This comes a day after Halle sung the national anthem, at the Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Rams game.
Fans were in awe of how fell Halle played as Ariel, in the scenes viewed. She was also applauded for how well she sung “Part Of The World.” However, Halle initially dealt with unnecessary backlash from racist fans on social media, for her playing this role of Ariel. But, the majority of the support has been overwhelming. The Little Mermaid will officially hit theaters, on May 26, 2023.
Rob Marshall is serving as director, of this The Little Mermaid remake. Javier Bardom is also appearing in this film, as he is playing the role of Ariel’s father.
Halle has also been a trending topic on social media lately, for her relationship with DDG. The two frequently post each other online, as Halle recently revealed that she is “for sure” in love with him. Halle initially turned into a star, in 2020, as she is part of a group with her sister, Chlöe.
