Jhené Aiko goes 2x platinum with “Chilombo” album

This year, Jhené Aiko has been a huge trending topic, due to announcing her second pregnancy. This is with her boyfriend Big Sean, who got back together a few years ago. The two initially started dating back in 2016. Aiko and Sean’s child went on to be a son, as they named him Noah. Pregnancy rumors began to float around earlier this year, after a fan claimed that she saw Aiko sport a baby bump, at Whole Foods. She and Sean later went on to confirm the pregnancy on social media.

However, Aiko also continues to be one of the most talented artists in R&B. According to Chart Data, her 2020 “Chilombo” album has now reached 2x platinum status, in the US. This comes after selling over 2 million units. At the time, Chilombo went on to debut at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.

Chilombo contained 29 songs in total, including the deluxe edition. This project was led by singles such as “Triggered Freestyle,” “Happiness Over Everything (H.O.E.)” featuring Future and Miguel, and “B.S.” featuring H.E.R. Aiko also collaborated with Big Sean, Nas, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Kehlani, Chris Brown, Mia J, and more.
