Kendrick Lamar fans play “Not Like Us” in Drake OVO store
This month was a legendary one in hip-hop, regarding the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef. The two consistently dropped many diss tracks towards each other, as one record even debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That was Kendrick’s “Not Like Us,” which was also the fastest song to go gold in 2024, in less than five days.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar fans are promoting Not Like Us in another interesting fashion. This weekend, two men went viral after playing the song through a backpack speaker, in one of Drake’s OVO apparel stores.
As a result, some shoppers in this OVO store laughed at this move, but staffers in the store weren’t please. The two men were asked to leave, as they eventually came back inside with the speaker, for a second time.
Overall, many believe that Kendrick Lamar easily won this beef vs Drake. In the first week of May, he even released four diss songs, as one of those included Not Like Us. The others included “Euphoria,” “6:16 In LA,” “Meet The Grahams,” and “Not Like Us.”
