Lil Nas X has been one of the biggest stars in the music industry, over the past three years. He broke out in 2019, with his chart-topping “Old Town Road” single, as it featured Billy Ray Cyrus. That collaboration went on to go diamond, in the US and is the highest certified track in RIAA history.

In 2021, Nas X also scored another number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which was “Industry Baby.” This featured Jack Harlow, another fan-favorite, since 2020.

Now, Industry Baby has now achieved a new milestone, in its streaming success. It is now reached 6x platinum eligibility in the US, according to Chart Data. This is after selling over 6 million units. On YouTube, Industry Baby’s video has accumulated over 361 million views.

Last month, Nas X also went viral for releasing his new “Late To Da Party” single, featuring NBA Youngboy. Nas X dissed BET on this song, due to receiving no BET Awards nominations, for the second straight year. Nas X said “F*ck BET” multiple times, throughout the single. Nas X did win a BET Award in 2020 though, for Best New Artist.
