His wife caught him and she chased him. This man simply focused on getting home first. When she got there, he opened the door, and acted like he had been home the whole time.
There are many reasons why people end up cheating on their partners. Truthfully, no one truly has an answer to why people do it. For some, it could truly be growing apart from their partner. Others could very much be in love, but feel they won’t be caught. Then, there’s the more obvious situation, where a person could be attracted to another person enough to cheat on their partner. Somehow, he managed to run home, getting there before his wife. After that, he opened the door, and acted pretended as though he had been home the entire time.
