Dreamville is executive producing “Creed III” soundtrack
This past weekend, ComplexCon was held in Long Beach, CA, from November 19-20. One of the interesting panels held on Sunday, was with star actor, Michael B. Jordan. Fellow “Creed III” co-star Jonathan Majors also appeared in this panel.
Jordan went on to reveal that J. Cole’s Dreamville label is executive producing the soundtrack to his upcoming “Creed III” film. The third installment of this film series is finally arriving on March 3. Jordan is directing Creed III, and will continue to star as a Adonis Creed in it, who is the son of Apollo Creed.
“I’m probably gonna get in trouble,” Jordan jokingly said during the panel. “Dreamville is executive producing this album.”
The Creed series was initially started in 2016, with its first installment. It became a massive hit, as the first two films also featured Sylvester Stallone. Stallone will not be in Creed III, but Jordan’s success as Apollo Creed more than makes up for that absence. However, Tessa Thompson is also returning. Boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez is confirmed to appear in Creed III.
Jordan has been an established star, over the past half decade. He’s also appeared in films such as the “Black Panther” series, as well as “Just Mercy.”
