Police hint at Master P’s daughter passing away from overdose
A few days ago, Master P shockingly revealed that his 29-year-old daughter, Tytyana, passed away. In P’s Instagram post, he hinted that drugs and mental health may have played roles in Tytyana’s passing.
“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel”
According to TMZ, police are looking into a cause of death now. Drug paraphernalia was reportedly found at the scene of Tytyana’s death, but there were no actual substances there. Police also added that the autopsy has been completed, but the toxicology results will take a few weeks.
This afternoon, Master P took to Instagram, to thank fans for their support, during this difficult time.
“I would like to thank everyone for all of the love, prayers and support. The only way that we are going to heal and grow from this is with the truth. It has been a long and painful journey for our family, my daughter has been battling with this since 2015. Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue and we hope to turn this tragedy into a testimony.”
