SZA’s “SOS” album goes 2x platinum

SZA has been winning big, with her new sophomore album, “SOS.” This was initially released on December 9, and debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. That also marked SZA’s first number one album of her career. It was her first project released since June 2017, which was her debut studio album, “Ctrl,” which saw a number three debut. SOS spent its first seven weeks at number one, and reached a total of 10.

SOS was led by hits such as “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” “Shirt,” and the latest “Kill Bill,” which is currently the number four song on the Billboard Hot 100. It initially peaked at number two. 23 songs were included on SOS, including collaborations with Travis Scott, Phoebe Bridgers, Don Toliver, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard.

Meanwhile, SZA has just reached another major milestone with SOS. According to Chart Data, it has just been certified 2x platinum in the US. This comes after selling over 2 million units.

Last month, SZA also wrapped up her month-long “SOS” North American Tour. That kicked off in late February, in Columbus, OH. The tour went on to conclude with two straight shows in Inglewood, CA, at the Kia Forum.
