SZA’s “SOS” album reaches 10th total week at number one in US
SZA’s “SOS” album has been dominating the charts, since its December 9 release. The new sophomore project by the TDE artist debuted at number one in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. It also had the biggest R&B streaming week, ever. SOS would go on to spend It’s first seven weeks at that top position.
SOS’ streak went on to be snapped at seven weeks, but is now back at three straight weeks at number one, once again. According to Chart Data, SZA sold an additional 85,000 units over the past week, with the album. SOS is led by hits such as “Good Days, “I Hate U,” “Shirt,” and “Kill Bill.” Kill Bill has since reached 2x platinum status, and is also number two in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
On Tuesday, SZA also kicked off her SOS North American Tour, in Columbus, OH. The second show went on to be held in Chicago. Fans in Detroit will be able to see SZA live, tonight. This is SZA’s first arena tour, and her first tour overall, since the fall of 2017.
