Three people shot near Lil Baby’s video shoot in Atlanta
On Tuesday, Lil Baby planned to shoot a video in his hometown of Atlanta. However it briefly ended due to gunfire in the area, according to TMZ.
Equipment for Lil Baby’s video shoot were reportedly being set up, when a semi-automatic weapon was soon fired, for about six seconds. Moreover, this occurred as another music video was pretending to be shot, nearby.
Furthermore, Atlanta police revealed that this incident occurred at the shopping district of Verbena Street in NW Atlanta. Three people went on to be shot in total. This includes a 24-year-old male with an injury to his arm and a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back. In addition to these two, a 23-year-old man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the neck. However, these are all non-life-threatening injuries. Baby didn’t sustain any injuries.
Fans are still waiting for new music from Lil Baby as well, as this hasn’t been the case since December 2023. This was when the Atlanta rapper released two singles, which were “Crazy” and “350.” Baby’s last studio album came in October 2022, which was “It’s Only Me.” That project went on to see a number one debut in the US, on the Billboard 200 chart. That marked Baby’s second straight number one album.
